Helene Moved Roads. We Move Mountains.

Hurricane Helene changed the landscape of Western North Carolina. Roads washed out, banks failed, and in some places the old route simply no longer makes sense.

Sometimes rebuilding means more than putting gravel back down.

Sometimes the mountain itself is in the way.

Traditional blasting is not always practical around homes, wells, utilities, septic systems, or tight mountain access. In those situations, non-explosive rock-breaking methods—sometimes called “smokeless dynamite”—can be used to split rock with far less vibration and no conventional blast.

That can help make room to:

  • Move or rebuild a driveway

  • Widen a mountain road

  • Improve dangerous turns

  • Open drainage paths

  • Create space for utilities, septic, or a building site

  • Rebuild access after storm damage

The goal is not to remove more mountain than necessary.

It is to remove the right rock, in the right place, for the right reason.

Helene moved roads.

We move mountains.
